Upcoming Events in Edinburgh

Our regular guide to the best music and theatre in Edinburgh over the coming months. The Bruntsfield is within easy reach of every major venue in the city — the King'sTheatre is a five-minute walk, the Usher Hall about fifteen, and Murrayfield, the Playhouse and the Corn Exchange are all a short bus or tram ride away.

The big news: the King's is back

The King's Theatre reopened on 1 August 2026 after four years and a complete redevelopment, and it is the closest theatre to our front door — a five-minute walk down Bruntsfield Place onto Leven Street.
